About Me

A Licensed Professional Here to Guide You

Since 2009, I feel honored to have been able to help people to better help themselves as a therapist.  I have a saying that “it’s hard to be human” because I feel that everyone goes through hard times in their lives; and it can be very rewarding to have a confidential, trained professional to talk with, to help to speed you and to comfort you through those difficult times.

In my over 10,000 hours of experience, I have worked with clients of all ages, adolescents, young adults, and adults with issues such as grief, loss, anxiety, substance abuse and other addictions,  PTSD and trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, and depression.

In my spare time, I practice yoga (I am a certified yoga instructor.).  As a therapist, I focus on a holistic approach of mind, body and spirit to ensure that we as humans feel connected to others, feel a part of a larger whole, and reconnect with a happier inner peace.

Because I am trained in many therapeutic techniques, I have an integrated approach to therapy.  With many tools at my disposal, I hope to serve your needs better.  Currently, I am trained in these empirically validated techniques: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivationally Interviewing (MI), and for couples: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1.

As a San Diego therapist, I serve individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and LGBT community in the greater San Diego area, including: Mission Valley, Kearny Mesa, Serra Mesa, Linda Vista, Claremont Mesa, University City, Normal Heights, Kensington, Talmadge, Tierrasanta, La Mesa, North Park, South Park, Hillcrest, Golden Hill, University Heights, La Jolla, Mira Mesa, Miramar, Scripps Ranch, Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Downtown City Center, Chula Vista, and Point Loma.
